Records are checked for completeness before they reach you. You should not be spending your time chasing a missing histopath report.
We format. We do not soften a conclusion because it costs us a case.
They differ legally, not just operationally. The indemnity position is not the same, and we will not blur them.
This is deliberate and it is structural. Healing Tourist earns nothing from the hospital or surgeon who treats a patient after you have reviewed their case no referral fee, no commission, no revenue share.
That keeps your participation clear of the prohibitions on fee-sharing and referral inducements that a specialist in your position has to take seriously. It also means the opinion you write has no commercial direction attached to it, which is the only way a second opinion is worth anything.
Practically: if you conclude the patient should stay with their current plan and not travel, that is a normal outcome we publish as a statistic not a lost sale we will call you about.

Please check your employment contract. Some institutions restrict outside consultation. We would rather you raise it now than find out later we can structure around most restrictions, but not around one nobody mentioned.
